Kinnerton Confectionery is the UK’s fourth-biggest chocolate manufacturer with two UK manufacturing sites and offices in London, Hong Kong and Sydney. The business was founded more than 30 years ago and today employs over 700 people.
Every year, among other things, the company produces more than 10 million advent calendars and more than 20 million Easter eggs of the highest quality, and its broad range makes it the UK’s leading manufacturer of seasonal goods.

Expertise in allergen control sets Kinnerton apart from its competitors. The business is proud to operate a unique ‘nut free’ environment making them one of the few confectionery companies able to offer ‘nut safe’ chocolate to the market.
In May 2019, Kinnerton launched the NOMO - No Missing Out - brand in response to growing demand for allergen free and vegan chocolate. NOMO is fresh, current and absolutely mainstream – offering all consumers the opportunity to eat delicious chocolate, irrespective of allergies or diet trends. Since its launch, NOMO has established itself as the UK’s number one free from chocolate brand, with 3 of the top 4 SKUs in the marketplace and is growing at a rate of 130% year on year.

Outstanding innovation is apparent across the entire Kinnerton portfolio. Every year, it develops around 400 new products that consumers frequently get to enjoy under well-known licensed brands. These include popular children’s and family licensed brands such as “Disney”, “Peppa Pig” and “Barbie”.

A key guarantee of success is flexible production at plants in Fakenham, Norfolk, and Sherburn-in-Elmet near York, where hundreds of different product lines are manufactured. It produces high-quality chocolate in all shapes and sizes, plus a range of packaging types that can be produced as requested by customers and according to the latest trends.
